Monika and Radek’s wedding. Monika moved to Devon shortly after graduating University. She is has her own cleaning company and has recently started working as a part time fitness instructor at the local gym. “I have always been obsessed with sport. If it wasn’t for an injury, I would have done my degree in physical education. I have worked in factories and ran my own cleaning business for a few years but I hope I can turn my passion in sports into a job. To be honest, both my husband and I want to move back Poland but first I want to get more experience as a fitness trainer. It will help me to find good job there”

Ola moved to Tiverton in 2015 after graduating University in Warsaw, where she studied administration and office management. At the beginning she lived with her cousin Tomek, where she met her husband Marcin. Their daughter Hania was born in Tiverton in 2017. “I’m a little bit tired of living in England. It’s not easy for Polish people to find any work which isn’t in a factory or a farm in Tiverton. I’m sure I will have more opportunities to develop my career in Poland. I think we will stay here for a year or two and we will go back”
